Role Summary 

We are seeking an experienced Dell Data Domain and Avamar Consultant to provide service to one of our prestigious clients in Doha, Qatar. This role requires relocation for the short engagement of upto 6 months. Your role will focus on analyzing and enhancing our data backup policies and procedures to meet industry standards and ensure compliance with industry standard (Healthcare Industry) requirements. This is a project-based role requiring expertise in data storage and recovery solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the current data backup and recovery processes, including systems such as VMware, VSAN, Dell Data Domain, and Avamar.
• Evaluate existing data storage workflows at the lab and their compliance with Healthcare Industry requirements.
• Identify critical data requiring backup and define requirements for backup frequency, retention policies, and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
• Develop and recommend a comprehensive backup strategy, incorporating on-site, off-site, cloud storage, and/or hybrid systems.
• Align backup strategies with laboratory standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide a detailed assessment report and actionable backup strategy recommendations.

Requirements:

• Relevant certifications in Dell EMC technologies (Data Domain and Avamar).
• Proven experience in data storage solutions, backup policies, and recovery processes.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks, preferably with experience in medical laboratory environments.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills to deliver comprehensive reports and recommendations.
• Candidates from Big 4 consulting firms OR professional services organizations are highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in medical Laboratories or Healthcare or Similar regulated environments.
• Expertise in designing backup strategies for complex IT systems.
