Job Summary and Purpose
Design, build, implement, and improve SAP logistics solutions to support all divisions and joint ventures within the organization. Leverage organizational capabilities to drive automation of manual processes using SAP smart solutions.
Accountabilities
SAP Implementation:
- Lead and participate in SAP logistics module implementations, providing system support and continuous improvement for the organization and its joint ventures.
- Review organizational policies and identify gaps against SAP’s standard offerings, conducting policy analysis and gap identification.
- Implement structured authorization to control logistics access, including position/job/personnel number-level restrictions.
- Design and configure ad-hoc logistics functionality to provide flexibility to related sections.
- Develop SAP training materials and conduct training sessions for end users.
- Ensure proper checks and balances are incorporated into the system to meet audit and business requirements.
- Design prototypes for projects/new processes and demonstrate SAP logistics module best practices to business, audit, and project teams.
- Assist in creating business analytical reports and dashboards using Power BI / SAP Data Sphere.
Problem Management:
- Collaborate with business users and relevant departments to analyze, investigate, and resolve issues. Document problems and solutions using predefined templates.
- Maintain project documentation, business process records, and configuration documents.
Qualifications, Experience, and Job Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- SAP ABAP certification is preferred.
Experience:
- 5-7 years of SAP experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role, preferably within a Telecom, Oil & Gas Industries
Job-Specific Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of SAP MM, PS, and SD modules.
- Understanding of integration between SAP logistics modules (MM, SD) and finance modules.
- Familiarity with S4 solutions, BTP, Fiori Apps, and integrations.
- Proficiency in business data modeling, preferably using Data Sphere.
- Experience in dashboard reporting and developing business analytical dashboards using Power BI.
- Knowledge of SAP interfaces and integration with other technologies, such as Microsoft.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Dataflows).
