Human Resources Manager - EPIC

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced HR Manager with a strong background in European HR practices to lead the human resources function for a leading EPC and industrial projects company in Qatar. This role is best suited for professionals familiar with HR management in European or American industrial and construction sectors, particularly in large-scale EPIC projects. The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership, compliance expertise, and workforce planning skills tailored to dynamic, multi-disciplinary engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy & Compliance

    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with best practices from leading European industrial companies.
    • Ensure compliance with international HR standards and local labor laws, maintaining European-level corporate governance.
    • Oversee employment contracts, workforce planning, and expatriate HR management.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management:

    • Lead talent acquisition strategies focused on highly skilled professionals with European project experience.
    • Manage recruitment for technical and managerial roles in EPC, construction, and oil & gas sectors.
    • Oversee onboarding, performance management, and career development programs to ensure high retention of specialized talent.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:

    • Foster a corporate culture reflective of leading European or American industrial companies, promoting transparency, integrity, and excellence.
    • Act as a strategic HR partner, advising senior leadership on best HR practices, change management, and workforce optimization.
    • Implement structured employee engagement programs tailored to an international workforce with a focus on European work ethics.
  • Compensation & Benefits:

    • Develop competitive compensation structures aligned with international best practices.
    • Manage global mobility programs and expatriate packages, ensuring seamless international employee transfers.
    • Ensure payroll, benefits, and incentive programs are structured to attract top-tier international talent.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in HR leadership roles within EPC, Oil & Gas, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Extensive exposure to European HR frameworks, with experience in European multinational industrial or EPC companies.
  • Strong knowledge of global talent acquisition, expatriate management, and international workforce strategies.
  • Proven experience in organizational development, HR digital transformation, and employee relations.

Preferred Candidate Profile
This role is ideal for HR leaders with international exposure and experience in European EPC, construction, or industrial companies. Candidates with backgrounds in European HR practices and standards will be best suited for this position.
