We are seeking a highly dedicated Senior Recruitment Specialist to focus exclusively on sourcing and validating candidates for the Oil & Gas and Shipbuilding sectors. This role requires someone who can work at speed and scale, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified, validated, and available candidates for a high-volume, fast-paced recruitment environment.
This position requires full-time dedication to sourcing, leaving no room for other recruitment functions such as stakeholder engagement or client management. The ideal candidate will have an extensive network in maritime and offshore industries and be able to proactively source candidates from international talent pools in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Cochin, and other key seaport regions.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
Actively source and identify candidates for technical, offshore, and shipyard roles, including welders, riggers, pipefitters, engineers, project supervisors, and marine technicians.
Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, headhunting techniques, and offshore industry networks to build a strong candidate database.
Maintain an updated talent pipeline for both immediate and future hiring needs.
Source candidates across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Cochin, and other key hiring markets, ensuring strong availability of skilled professionals.
Candidate Validation & Screening
Conduct rigorous pre-screening and validation processes, including resume reviews, experience checks, and initial interviews.
Validate candidates' technical qualifications, certifications, offshore work experience, and availability for deployment.
Assess candidates' suitability for high-pressure, fast-paced work environments, ensuring they meet both technical and safety standards.
Verify work permits, visa status, and compliance requirements for international hires.
High-Volume Recruitment Execution
Manage multiple open roles simultaneously, ensuring fast turnaround times in sourcing and validation.
Work closely with internal recruitment teams to hand over fully screened, ready-to-deploy candidates.
Ensure real-time availability of validated candidates to match the demands of urgent projects.
Data & Reporting
Maintain accurate candidate tracking in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) or recruitment database.
Provide weekly reports on sourcing activity, candidate pipeline status, and validation progress.
Ensure data integrity, including tracking rejected candidates and reasons for disqualification.

Strong headhunting skills, with the ability to identify passive and active candidates quickly.
Deep knowledge of talent availability and compensation structures in maritime and offshore industries.
Proficiency in Boolean search, job board scraping, and LinkedIn sourcing techniques.
Validation & Screening Capabilities
Ability to assess technical skills, certifications, and offshore work readiness.
Experience conducting structured screening processes for high-volume recruitment.
Strong attention to detail in verifying work experience, background checks, and compliance documents.
High-Pressure & High-Volume Recruitment
Ability to work under tight deadlines, with multiple urgent requirements.
Strong multi-tasking skills, managing multiple candidate pipelines in parallel.

Mandatory Selection Criteria
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in high-volume candidate sourcing and validation.
Must have recruited for Oil & Gas and Shipbuilding industries (Offshore and Shipyard roles).
Proven ability to source talent from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Cochin, and other key maritime locations.
Demonstrated success in managing multiple urgent roles simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with visa processing, offshore compliance requirements, and international workforce mobility.
