Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Infrastructure Support Specialist at the L2/L3 level. The role involves managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Azure Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring high availability and seamless performance of critical business applications hosted on Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced (L2/L3) technical support for Azure Infrastructure, ensuring incident resolution within agreed SLAs.
Troubleshoot complex network, security, and infrastructure issues, performing root-cause analysis using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and machine learning-based anomaly detection.
Manage Azure subscription administration, resource groups, DNS management, and Azure governance policies.
Configure, support, and maintain Azure network components including Express Route, V-NET, Bastion Host, Application Gateway with WAF, NSGs, Private Endpoints, Firewall, and Azure DDoS Protection.
Monitor, manage, and optimize Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Azure Backup, and Azure App Services.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or ARM templates.
Drive automated remediation of common infrastructure issues using Azure Automation and AI-driven processes.
Proactively perform performance tuning, load testing, and continuous optimization of Azure resources.
Ensure compliance with security policies, performing regular audits, compliance reporting, and enforcing best practices in cloud security.
Manage backup, disaster recovery planning, and support Azure Backup solutions.
Coordinate closely with Microsoft Support and internal teams for troubleshooting and issue escalation.
Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, issue resolutions, and operational procedures.
Conduct OS upgrades and implement necessary patches for infrastructure components.
Provide billing support and undertake regular cost optimization exercises to ensure efficient usage of cloud resources.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years in cloud infrastructure support, with at least 3 years focused on Azure environments at L2/L3 levels.
In-depth knowledge of Azure infrastructure components including VMs, App Services, Storage, Networks, and Security tools.
Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and security management tools.
Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
Hands-on experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Azure Automation).
Familiarity with databases and storage management (SQL, MySQL, Redis, etc.).
Proven track record of handling infrastructure escalations and root-cause analysis.
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are strongly preferred.

Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure timely resolution and escalation of critical issues.
