Role Objective
The Product Owner Support will be responsible for analyzing business processes, systems, and data to execute on critical enterprise initiatives. This role will work extensively in capturing and often helping define business requirements across multiple stakeholders, work through data and process gaps, support testing plans and activities across multiple projects, all with the objective of creating optimal value for the client.
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities
Provide expertise in the areas of business process discovery and definition, requirements definition, analysis and design, configuration, implementation, testing, training, facilitation, and documentation to deliver enterprise solutions.
Plan, organize, manage, monitor and be responsible for the business process analysis activities of projects.
Understand business context, project justification, business goals, and priorities and update and maintain documentation on such.
Understand and apply business architecture concepts to ensure strategic alignment with organizational goals, outcomes, and business value.
Recommend types of working groups and lead working groups to support the discovery and analysis of business processes and requirements and the design of new solutions.
Document current state business process, capture issues and opportunities, and understand proposed future state, identifying gaps to achieve that state.
Develop business requirements documents, solutions requirements documents, and functional requirements.
Partner with and support architects in the creation of current and future state architecture.
Create process maps, data maps, data models, data flow diagrams, and work with and support data architects.
Collaborate with integration architects to design integrations.
Recommend options for the implementation of business solutions.

COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE
Educational Qualifications
University graduate with a degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
In-depth knowledge of applications and the business requirements supporting them.
Experience
Minimum of five years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven experience in developing customer experience journey maps, personas, and monitoring concept to execution in a large complex organization.
Excellent ability to build strategic narratives and bring them to life.
Experience in monitoring trends and innovation opportunities.
Multi-disciplinary experience in at least three of the following: Consumer Experience, Digital User Experience, Strategic Design, Product Design, Innovation Strategy.
Technical Competencies
Technical expertise and experience in IT project management of large-scale, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems.
Experience in managing systems development, enterprise architecture, and business process change.
Knowledge of quality assurance and testing for COTS and custom systems, data migration, and systems integration.
Experience in change management, data management, and solution and enterprise architecture.
Understanding of applications development methodologies, implementation best practices, and benchmarks.
