Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to manage, maintain, and enhance enterprise networking infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and performance across the network ecosystem, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and evolve network operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable network infrastructure solutions
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and other networking equipment
Monitor core and distribution networks to ensure optimal performance and availability
Conduct proactive network performance monitoring and event management, including isolation and diagnosis of issues
Administer security devices such as Firewalls and Network Access Control (NAC) systems
Resolve issues at the access layer, including passive infrastructure components
Manage and monitor WAN infrastructure, including:
• SD-WAN devices and servers
• MPLS connections (Fiber and Microwave)
• Internet and broadband links
• IoT connections
Oversee the operation of existing network monitoring tools (e.g., Cisco DNA Center, OP Manager)
Perform network assessments and recommend optimizations for performance and security
Maintain up-to-date documentation of all network assets in the organization’s asset management system
Ensure asset tracking processes are followed, including:
• Importing manually maintained assets into the system
• Registering new assets before activation
• Proposing improvements to asset tracking templates and tools
Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and provide timely support for network-related incidents
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS
Solid grasp of network security principles and implementation (e.g., VPNs, firewalls)
Proven experience in WAN technologies, especially SD-WAN
Proficiency in using enterprise-grade network monitoring and diagnostic tools
