Job Summary:
We are hiring skilled Technical Engineers to support daily IT operations and end-user services across multiple locations. The role involves providing Layer 1 and Layer 2 technical support for endpoints, network troubleshooting, asset documentation, and ensuring endpoint security and compliance. The ideal candidate will be experienced in supporting a hybrid environment with a range of operating systems, software, and IoT devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Layer 1 and Layer 2 technical support for users and endpoints
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues
Log incidents and service requests using the internal ServiceDesk system
Support users in securing and backing up their data
Record and maintain endpoint assets such as computers, IP phones, laptops, and printers in the asset management system
Ensure all endpoints have up-to-date patches and security software installed
Set up and troubleshoot IoT devices used in fleet operations
Identify and report abnormal user or endpoint behavior, including potential security threats
Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledgebase articles (guides, configurations, and instructions)
Apply and enforce endpoint security measures across all user devices
Assist with installation and setup of various software applications across platforms
Educate and guide users on new applications and IT tools
Technical Skills and Experience:
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Experience with various operating systems for computers, mobile devices, and terminals
Ability to install and configure software and applications
Familiarity with endpoint security and handling cybersecurity threats
Hands-on experience with IoT devices and CCTV systems
Capacity to work effectively across remote and headquarters locations in a distributed environment
Comfortable supporting Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and third-party tools
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a technical support team
Willingness to continuously learn and teach new technologies to end-users
Organized with good documentation and reporting habits
