Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Consultant with strong expertise in Finastra Fusion Loan IQ System. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Loan IQ implementations, interface development, SDK scripting, and end-to-end process flows in syndicated and bilateral lending. The role also requires business analysis, QA, and testing expertise to support banking system integration and ensure robust, compliant delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, support, and optimize Loan IQ system solutions (minimum 5 years of experience required).
Develop and maintain SDK-based scripts (inquiry, event management, scripted API, scripted batch).
Work with Loan IQ data dictionary (7.7.X version) and maintain deep understanding of system framework.
Debug and resolve interface and functional issues in Loan IQ applications.
Configure and support Loan IQ modules: Customer setup, Deal building, Facility building, Portfolio management, Secondary sales, Payments (principal, interest, fee), Fee types, Circles, Trade tickets, Swaps, Collaterals, Adhoc queries, Ticklers, Repayment schedules.
Manage RFR functionality, MX payments, GL entry generation, batch accounting, and online accounting.
Perform business analysis and QA: Review business requirement specifications (BRS), prepare functional specifications, test cases, and ensure test coverage (SIT/UAT).
Conduct defect lifecycle management, regression testing, and execution status reporting.
Support system integration with core banking systems and ensure alignment with business processes.
Provide technical assistance in system evaluation, development of procedures, and business cycle specifications.
Document business requirements, user manuals, training materials, and ensure high standards of data protection.
Collaborate with system analysts, developers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Technical Skills
Loan IQ SDK development (inquiry script, event triggers, scripted API, scripted batch).
Strong knowledge of Loan IQ framework, data model, functionalities, RFR, MX payments.
Competent in nightly batches, accounting, pricing, accruals.
Core Java/J2EE, XML, Rest API.
Oracle (packages, stored procedures).
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in banking system implementations and support, with at least 3 years in IT.
Proven expertise in Loan IQ system, functional configurations, and end-to-end process flows.
Experience in test scope analysis, regression testing, SIT/UAT.
Strong experience in business process mapping and banking domain knowledge.
Soft Skills
Excellent oral and written communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.
