Detailed Roles & Responsibilities
Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) for OT assets.
Apply patches and Anti-Virus updates for installed OT assets.
Collect backups and support recovery process for DCS, SIS, and ICS assets.
Collect ICS Field Assets Data for DCS and non-DCS systems.
Verify and update field mark-ups and as-built documents.
Perform field activities including:
Cabinet lock maintenance (RIE’s DCS/SIS/NON-DCS).
Troubleshoot/remove unused cables; install new network/power cables.
Perform field housekeeping; arrange/write-off waste materials.
Install/replace cybersecurity assets (DCS, SIS, ICS).
Prepare spares and project materials.
Label/attach network cables.
Lay/install power cables in PPC cabinets.
Lay communication cables for KVM, arrange monitors/stations.
Verify and collect as-built nameplate data for OT assets.
Prepare and receive PTW (Permit to Work) for field work.
Coordinate with maintenance team for non-DCS assets (e.g., laptops) for PM: AV installation, hardening, patching.
Support physical asset hardening, including USB lock implementation.
Support and validate field user access control.
Carry out day-to-day PM field tasks.
Support ICS field asset logs collection.
Note: This is a hands-on role involving considerable field work in a 24/7 petrochemical manufacturing environment.
Experience Required
Minimum 3+ years’ experience within Oil & Gas or Chemical facility with focus in ICS/OT Cybersecurity.
Preferred: 5+ years’ experience within Oil & Gas or Chemical facility with focus in ICS/OT Cybersecurity.
Preferred Skills Required
CCNA/Network+ certified.
CEH/CompTIA Security+/CySA+ certified.
At least one recognized cybersecurity certification (minimum desirable).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Educational Qualification Required
Graduate Degree or 3 Years Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electrical, Instrument, Automation, Mechatronics, Cybersecurity, or Electronics.
Specific Industry Experience Required
Oil & Gas or Chemical manufacturing environments.
