About our client
Our client is a leading IT services provider in Qatar, delivering cloud, infrastructure, managed and security services to enterprise clients. Talent Leaders is managing this search on a confidential basis, and the client's name will be shared with shortlisted candidates at interview stage.

The role
You will design the information security services the client delivers to its customers. The role turns customer requirements and business objectives into security service architectures, sets the design standards the team works to, and works closely with security operations and compliance so that every service is secure, workable and consistent with contracts and regulations.
Key responsibilities

Design and develop complex information security services and solutions aligned with customer requirements, business objectives and industry best practice.
Analyse customer needs, business processes and technical requirements, and translate them into efficient and innovative service designs.
Define and apply service design methodologies, frameworks and standards with cross-functional teams.
Run user research, interviews and surveys, and analyse service data to identify improvements to existing services.
Maintain service quality through metrics and KPIs, take part in audits and reviews, and drive corrective actions.
Provide technical guidance to service design teams and support the delivery of service design projects.
Support the implementation of monitoring and trending tools for infrastructure, software and IT component performance and resource utilisation.
Establish and maintain capacity management planning at enterprise, system and component level.
Work with security operations and compliance so that security reviews produce feasible requirements that are consistent with contracts and regulations.
Track emerging security technologies and trends and build them into the service roadmap.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
5 or more years of experience in technology services, with a strong focus on designing information security solutions and services.
Hands-on design experience across security technologies such as DLP, PAM, IAM, MDM, DNS security, FIM, deception, NGFW, XDR, SIEM, SOAR, email security, proxy and WAF.
Experience designing security services in a managed security service provider (MSSP) or cloud environment is strongly preferred.
Sound understanding of enterprise technology: data centres, WAN, MAN and LAN networks, enterprise storage, servers, enterprise applications such as ERP, BI, CRM and CMS, and enterprise management systems.
Working knowledge of service design principles and of architecture frameworks for service definition and documentation.
Good knowledge of scripting, security analysis, data modelling and database management.
Able to lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams, stakeholders and customers.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, TOGAF or vendor security architecture certifications are an advantage.
Excellent written and spoken English.
