Chief of Facility Management

Location: Doha, Qatar
Employment type: Full-time, permanent

Role summary
Take full ownership of facility management across the group’s properties and operations. You will lead the strategy, standards and delivery of safe, efficient and well-maintained facilities and manage the teams and contractors behind them.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the facility management strategy for all group assets
• Oversee hard and soft services, including maintenance, MEP, cleaning, security, landscaping and pest control
• Manage FM contractors and service providers, including SLAs, KPIs and performance reviews
• Own the FM budget, cost control and contract negotiations
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and Qatar regulatory requirements
• Lead planned preventive maintenance, asset lifecycle management and energy efficiency programmes
• Manage emergency response, business continuity and incident reporting
• Build, lead and develop the FM team
• Report regularly to senior leadership on performance, risk and cost

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management or a related field
• 10+ years of facility management experience, including senior leadership of large or multi-site portfolios
• Native Arabic speaker with fluent English
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building maintenance and FM service models
• Professional FM certification (such as IFMA or equivalent) preferred
• Strong contract, budget and vendor management skills
• Experience in Qatar or the GCC is a strong advantage
