Training Specialist

Purpose of the role

Design and deliver the capability building that turns the governance framework into working practice for stewards, owners, custodians and general business users.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis mapped to the data governance role model.
• Design the curriculum and learning pathways for each audience group, from executive awareness to hands-on steward training.
• Develop training materials, user guides, quick reference cards and e-learning content.
• Deliver instructor-led sessions and workshops in Doha.
• Design assessment and certification approach for internal data roles.
• Build the train-the-trainer capability so delivery continues after programme exit.
• Track training completion, comprehension and application, and report into adoption metrics.

Mandatory requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience on similar projects.
• Demonstrated ability to build training content from scratch, not deliver pre-existing vendor curricula.
• Fluent professional English.

Advantageous

• Bilingual English and Arabic delivery capability.
• Data governance or data literacy subject matter knowledge sufficient to author content without constant SME dependency.
• Instructional design credentials, e-learning authoring tool experience (Articulate, Captivate).
• MENA and Power and Utilities exposure.
