Job Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom Expert with extensive experience in HF/VHF/UHF radios, amateur radio operations, mobile networks (5G, 4G, 3G), and RF signals or microwave technologies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and maintaining telecommunications systems to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain HF/VHF/UHF radio systems for reliable communication.

• Utilize expertise in amateur radio operations, preferably with an active call sign, to enhance communication solutions.

• Oversee and optimize mobile network technologies including 5G, 4G, and 3G.

• Analyze and troubleshoot RF signals and microwave communication systems.

• Conduct site surveys, spectrum analysis, and interference assessments.

• Work on network planning, frequency allocation, and bandwidth optimization.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative telecom solutions.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and advancements in telecommunications.

Competences, Skills, Experience

• 8-10 years of experience in telecommunications engineering.

• Expertise in HF/VHF/UHF radio communications.

• Proficiency in amateur radio operations, preferably with an active call sign.

• Hands-on experience with mobile networks (5G, 4G, 3G).

• Strong knowledge of RF signals, spectrum management, and microwave technologies.

• Familiarity with radio propagation, antenna design, and signal processing.

• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting tools, and RF testing equipment.

• Knowledge of telecom regulations, frequency licensing, and compliance standards.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education, Academic Qualification, Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Certifications in RF engineering, mobile networks, or amateur radio licensing are a plus.

Language and Other Selection Criteria

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
